WILMINGTON — According to officials, the City of Wilmington’s municipal golf course will not be taking reservations in its normal seven-day window. Due to temperatures forecast to be in the low 20s from Dec. 22 through the 27, advance tee times can be booked two days in advance.

“This will allow the golf maintenance staff time to cover the greens with the tarps,” a press release from the city noted.

The staff will monitor weather changes as necessary. Once temps have warmed, protective tarps will be removed from the course for games to resume.
