Over the course of 20 days, WFD collected non-perishables during its 20 Days of Christmas food drive. Donations were taken in at all nine fire stations Nov. 23 through Dec. 12.
Each day corresponded with a specific food item on Nourish NC’s wish list. The collected items will be used in the nonprofit’s Market on Market and backpack program to feed families that need might need a little help around this time of year.
