WILMINGTON — A boil advisory for North Channel Haven Drive and surrounding areas has been lifted.
As of Friday, Cape Fear Public Utility Authority rescinded its boil advisory in effect since Thursday. Crews responded to a leak on a water main and were working to restore water service quickly.
Roughly 60 CFPUA customers were impacted; they no longer have to boil water before consumption.
