WILMINGTON — The local healthcare affiliate of New Hanover Regional Medical Center will be hosting a hiring event next week.
Interested parties will be able to learn more about positions available in nursing support and non-clinical careers. It takes place at NCWorks, 1994 S. 17th St., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 10.
Hosted by New Hanover County NCWorks and Cape Fear Workforce Development, the following positions, as well as others, are being filled:

The Cape Fear Workforce Development Board (CFWDB) through the NCWorks Career Center — serving Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover and Pender counties — will offer free services to job seekers, including resume-building and interviewing skills, and locating education and training. It also heps employers find candidates, post jobs, and search labor market information.
