Female arrested on multiple drug charges

WILMINGTON — A traffic stop on Monday evening led to the arrest a 44-year-old female with two outstanding warrants.

Law enforcement from the Wilmington Police Department pulled over Laschat Vaughn in the 1200 block of Castle Street. After observing marijuana in the vehicle, they conducted a search and also found heroin and crack/cocaine.

Vaughn was charged with possession schedule I, possession schedule II, possession schedule VI, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice, identity theft, RDO, no operators license, probation violation, and expired registration.

She is being held at the NHCSO Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
