WPD search for driver in pedestrian-involved hit and run

WILMINGTON —  The traffic unit of the Wilmington Police Department needs help identifying a driver involved in a hit and run.

The incident took place in the 3900 block of Market Street on Monday, Sept. 9, 6 p.m. A driver of a dark grey or silver sedan — possibly a newer Honda Accord — was involved in a vehicle crash with a pedestrian. The WPD noted the driver may be a white female with blonde or brown hair.
