NEW HANOVER COUNTY — According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, there will be crews replacing a drainage pipe next week, which will shutter a road in the Wrightsboro area of the county.
A section of Oakley Road will close Monday and remain blocked off for two weeks, Aug. 15 through 26. Drivers will be detoured “onto Bountiful Lane and Oakley Road (loop) to access either side of the closure,” according to the NCDOT.
Drivers should proceed through the work area with caution while crews works on the roadway.
