NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Individuals who live in New Hanover County who wish to help in local government have an opportunity to participate, as the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners has openings on numerous boards and committees.
Applications are open through Sept. 2 and can be picked up at the government center or accessed at Commissioners.NHCgov.com. Commissioners will consider all candidates at its Sept. 19 meeting.
