CAROLINA BEACH — Freeman Park, on the southend of Carolina Beach, is at capacity, according to the Town of Carolina Beach.
Therefore, vehicular traffic onto the park is closed until further notice.
“Public safety will regularly assess the situation to determine if and when the park can safely be re-opened or when additional closures are required,” the town noted.
