County closures and openings for Memorial Day

SOUTHEASTERN N.C. — In honor of the Memorial Day holiday, some county facilities will close, while others remain open.

New Hanover County

Closures include:

  • NHC offices
  • NHC libraries
  • Senior Resource Center
  • NHC clinics
  • Household Hazardous Waste facilit
  • Hazwagon

Other county facilities, including attraction sites, will remain open, such as:

  • Airlie Gardens
  • Arboretum (grounds only)
  • Cape Fear Museum
  • County parks
  • Landfill

Brunswick County

Brunswick County government offices and Brunswick County Library branches are closed Monday in honor of Memorial Day.

As well Monday trash and recycling will operate as usual.

The landfill and convenience centers closed Monday.

Pender County

Pender County government offices and the libraries are closed Monday in honor of Memorial Day.
