WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department arrested 58-year-old Nigora Umarkhodzhayeva in reference to a stabbing Saturday.
Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Cinema Drive around 5:20 p.m. where a male victim was transported to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Umarkhodzhayeva is being charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury.
She is being held at the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center on a $25,000 secured bone.
