WILMINGTON — One female is dead and a man is hospitalized after a shooting Saturday morning in Wilmington.
The police department responded to the scene in the 700 block of Galley Lane just after 10 a.m. The female succumbed to her injuries, and the man was transported to Novant Health-New Hanover Regional Medical Center by EMS with life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
“Both victims’ identification is being withheld at this time due to family notification,” WPD said. “This is an isolated incident.”
