Free workshop offered on food production grown in high tunnels

WILMINGTON — A free workshop will be hosted next week for parties interested in learning about food production grown in high tunnels.

Participants will tour farms, see tunnels and learn how they help extend the growing season. The free workshop takes place on Apr. 9 from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., as hosted by the NC Cooperative Extension and Carolina Farm Stewardship Association .
