Team First Book seeks volunteers

WILMINGTON – An all-volunteer nonprofit is calling for help to get books into the hands of elementary school students..

Team First Book, established in 2006, gifts books to children in grades K-2  in New Hanover County. To date, the organization has been able to provide 35,000 children with 80,000 books countywide. 

The nonprofit does not have paid staff and needs help in multiple sectors. Volunteers will be able to assist in public outreach programs, fundraising, community relations, and more.
