Wilmington police investigating shooting at North 31st Street

WILMINGTON — A man is in the hospital with possibly life-threatening injuries following a shooting in Wilmington Thursday night.

The shots were fired in the 200 block of North 31st Street, according to Wilmington police.

Upon arriving on scene, officers found the gunshot victim “with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries.” He was transported by EMS to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
