WILMINGTON — American pop band Haim — consisting of three sisters, Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim from Southern California — announced a 27-date tour, which will stop over at downtown’s Live Oak Bank Pavilion on May 22.

The band has released three albums, including 2013’s “Day Are Gone,” 2017’s “Something to Tell You” and 2020’s “Women in Music Pt. 111.” The latter was nominated for a Grammy, and charted number one in album sales and on the Alternative Rock, iTunes and Rock Album charts. The single, “The Steps,” from “Women in Music Pt. 111” also was nominated for a Grammy.

In 2021 Haim released “Cherry Flavored Stomach Ache,” a song for the soundtrack of Netflix’s “The Last Letter From Your Lover.” The sisters also released on Twitter Friday night a remake of Adam Sandler’s famed “The Chanukah Song” from “SNL,” and at the end hinted at the tour announcement which came 9 a.m. Monday.

But before Alana Haim hits the road with her crew, she will make her big-screen debut in Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest flick “Licorice Pizza,” which will be released nationwide on Christmas Day. The film is a coming-of-age love story set in 1973’s San Fernando Valley.

The One More Haim Tour will feature various openers, with American singer-songwriter Sasami launching the Wilmington show. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m.; however, a pre-sale begins Tuesday, Dec 7, through Ticketmaster. Pre-sale code is BELLS.
