Public welcome to learn about fire, EMS and law enforcement training at CFCC

CASTLE HAYNE — On Thursday the north campus of Cape Fear Community College is welcoming the public to learn about programs available for fire, EMS and law-enforcement training.

The Public Safety Training Expo takes place at the BB&T Auditorium in the McKeithan Center, Dec. 2, 6 p.m – 8 p.m., at CFCC’s North Campus in Castle Hayne. It will connect the public and students to local public safety employers from local agencies.

“CFCC’s Public Safety Programs train individuals for high-paying, rewarding careers,” CFCC Vice President of Economic and Workforce Development John Downing said in a press release. “We train law enforcement officers, first responders, medical technicians, and firefighters from the Cape Fear region and beyond.”
