Cape Fear Memorial Bridge to undergo inspection, reduce lanes next week

WILMINGTON — N.C. Department of Transportation will close lanes on the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge next week, in order to conduct its biennium inspection.

Drivers can expect one of the four lanes on the bridge to be reduced between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Nov. 30 to Dec. 9. NC DOT will shut down the right lane in the south direction and then in the north direction, one at a time.
