WILMINGTON — Anyone who has old medications lying around and is looking to dispose of them properly can do so Saturday.
Novant Health is hosting a drive-thru disposal event, 10 a.m. – 2p.m., at two sites in town:
- NHRMC Medical Mall, 2243 S. 17th St., Wilmington
- NHRMC Atlantic SurgiCenter, 9104 Market St., Wilmington
Participants can bring all medications, including prescriptions and over-the-counter purchases, as well as vitamins or herbal supplements. Novant will be accepting syringes and other sharps, e-cigarette and vaping devices, if the batteries have been removed.
The drive-thrus are contactless, but masks are required.
