BRUNSWICK COUNTY –– Brunswick Regional Water and Sewer H2GO reported the discharge of an estimated 4,800 gallons of wastewater near Old Fayetteville Road.
Two spills occurred Wednesday due to abnormal rainfall events, the utility announced Thursday.
The wastewater flowed into Sturgeon Creek from lift stations number 16 and 56.
H2GO notified the Division of Water Resources Thursday of the spills.
