LELAND –– Leland Police Department arrested the alleged vandal of Local’s Tavern after a weekend investigation.
At around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Leland Police Department arrived at Local’s Tavern on New Pointe Boulevard responding to reports of a subject damaging windows. Officers observed several front windows and other property owned by the business appeared to have been smashed with a blunt object.
Offivers arrests Winford Theodore Grainger III, 36, of Leland at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
He has been charged with one count each of Injury to real property, injury to personal property,
communicating threats, second-degree trespassing, and going armed to the terror of the public. Grainger was placed under a $10,000 secured bond.
