BRUNSWICK COUNTY –– Brunswick County Health Services is hosting a series of pop-up Covid-19 vaccine clinics throughout July.
In a press release, the department noted its hopes the clinics will increase access to the vaccine across the county.
Patients can receive either their first or second dose at the clinics and request any of the three vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson. Children 12- to 17-years-old are only eligible for the Pfizer vaccine.
No appointment is required. The vaccine is free and insurance is not required, however, patients should bring their insurance cards, if available. The county health departments also asks that people bring their ID, wear a mask to indoor clinics, and, if they received their first Covid-19 dose outside the state, bring proof of vacciantion.
“Our team cannot access other states’ vaccination systems to verify your first vaccination,” according to the press release.
