CFCC launches drones systems certificate program

NEW HANOVER COUNTY — As part of Electronics Engineering Technology, Cape Fear Community College announced the launch of a new two-semester program that will allow students to receive a drones systems certificate. The program will teach participants how to build and repair an unmanned aircraft through circuit analysis and fabrication techniques, according to CFCC.

Classes will take place at at CFCC’s North Campus in Castle Hayne and the curriculum will include intro to UAS operations, unmanned aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and small UAS certification.
