NEW HANOVER –– People can drop off unwanted medications Saturday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The spring disposal event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at New Hanover Regional Medical Center Medical Mall, located at 2243 S. 17th St., and the Atlantic SurgiCenter, located at 9104 Market St. in Wilmington.
The event is accepting prescriptions, over-the-counter, vitamins or herbal medicines, as well as syringes and other sharps and e-cigarettes and vaping devices with batteries removed.
