WILMINGTON — If you drive near the Oleander Drive Wooster-Dawson street split, be prepared for delays Thursday. Starting at 9 a.m., westbound traffic (the lanes headed toward downtown) in the 1900 block of Oleander Drive will temporarily be shifted to a single lane while crews with the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority complete an emergency repair to a water main. The work will take place near the Farmer’s Supply store, but all traffic in the busy area could face delays.
The traffic shift and delays are expected to last for about six hours as crews complete the repair work and repave the roadway.
