UPDATE: NHRMC Covid-19 vaccine appointments announced Friday full

New Hanover Regional Medical Center said Friday afternoon it now has appointments for vaccines.

Update: The NHRMC appointments were all filled within 40 minutes of the announcement.

We will announce when new appointments are available when we have additional supplies of vaccines,” said spokesperson Julian March. “The status will be at www.nhrmc.org/coronavirus.

NEW HANOVER COUNTY – New Hanover Regional Medical Center announced Friday afternoon new Covid-19 vaccine appointments were available.

To book an appointment, visit the NHRMC website and answer the qualification question: “Are you 65 years of age or older, or are you a Health Care worker with in-person patient contact?” When users answer “yes,” it will take them to the virtual hospital portal MyChart to select a time slot.

People may also call 910-662-2020 to schedule an appointment.

As of approximately 3:15 p.m., multiple time slots were still available for Sunday at The Pointe Movie Theater on Blockbuster Road.

The hospital opened 1,400 appointments Thursday around the same time. All were filled within 40 minutes.
