Police suspect overdose in case of body found off Swann Street

WILMINGTON – Wilmington police are investigating after discovering a body off Swann Street Tuesday evening, according to a news release from the department.

Around 7:50 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Swann Street in reference to a deceased male. The department has yet to confirm the identity or age of the person, although it did state that police suspect the cause of death was an overdose.
