WILMINGTON—Folks shopping downtown on Black Friday or Small Business Saturday will have free on-street parking through Thanksgiving weekend.
The City of Wilmington has turned off meters through Sunday, and encourages shoppers to follow the three Ws: wear a mask, wash your hands, wait 6 feet apart. Also, avoid gathering in crowds.
