WPD releases pictures of two men wanted in armed robbery of delivery driver

WILMINGTON, NC — Two men are wanted in connection with an armed robbery of a delivery driver from Sunday night, according to Wilmington Police Department.

The driver told police on Nov. 15 at 10:30 p.m. a black male approached him as he was delivering food to 350 S. Turners Run. The male had a gun and demanded the driver’s money before taking off on foot to the Haynes-Lacewell Training Center at 3100 Hurst. St.

The unharmed driver then called the police, who upon arrival discovered the victim’s vehicle was damaged and items stolen from the car.  

The Wilmington Police Department is requesting anyone with information to call (910)-343-3609 or use the new Wilmington NC PD app to make an anonymous tip.
