Battleship NORTH CAROLINA delays opening Saturday

WILMINGTON, NC—The Battleship NORTH CAROLINA will delay opening until 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, because of expected flooding caused from the last two days of heavy rain.

The morning tide is expected to worsen from a simultaneous king tide, creating high waters near the Battleship’s site along the Cape Fear River.

Flooding is supposed to happen throughout this upcoming week, and Battleship officials encourage the public to check their website for updates at BattleshipNC.com.
