Wrightsville Avenue to close in 4200 block

NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Traffic will be closed overnight on Wednesday, May 6, in the 4200 block of Wrightsville Avenue. Crews will be replacing water services in the area.

The closure begins at at 7 p.m. with drivers directed to detour around the closure via South 42nd and South 43rd streets to Park Avenue. Traffic in both directions of South 42nd and South 43rd streets will be closed and only local drivers will be allowed during construction.

The closure is expected to remain in place for eight hours.
