
SOUTHEASTERN N.C. — New Hanover County Schools is reporting 342 Covid-19 cases, down from the past two week’s high of 687 and 910.
This past week, just a dozen students and staff members were quarantined due to an on-campus exposure, according to the district’s dashboard.

Brunswick County Schools confirmed 100 active Covid-19 cases, including five in the central services, as of Friday on its dashboard. Just over 110 students and staff were quarantined following exposure to the virus.
BCS provides the following disclaimer: “This data reflects the number of reported COVID-19 cases in the district. Due to a revision in testing requirements from NC DHHS and in the Strong Schools NC Public Health Toolkit, the dashboard may not accurately reflect the number of positive cases or the number of close contacts.”
