WILMINGTON — Due to inclement weather, the Wilmington Police Department National Night Out originally scheduled for tonight has been postponed.

The event will now take place on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at The Pointe at Barclay from 6 p.m to 9 p.m.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that strengthens partnerships between law enforcement, first responders, local organizations, and residents while promoting neighborhood safety and community engagement.

Community members are invited to join officers, public safety personnel, and community partners for an evening of family-friendly activities, safety demonstrations, vendor exhibits, children’s activities, and opportunities to connect with those who serve the community.
