WILMINGTON — Coastal Horizons has launched a new onsite pharmacy in partnership with Genoa Healthcare, further expanding access to integrated, patient-centered care on its main campus in Wilmington.
The onsite pharmacy accepts Medicaid and is designed to simplify access to medications for individuals receiving care at Coastal Horizons. Services include pre-filled pill organizers, synchronized prescription refills, and free delivery, helping reduce barriers and support consistent treatment.
Though the pharmacy will be a closed pharmacy for Coastal Horizons clients and their family members, general community members can select Genoa as their pharmacy of choice, and the Genoa team will coordinate medications to be sent to the individual’s home or other preferred delivery site.
“Access to medications is a critical component of whole-person care,” Margaret Weller-Stargell, President and CEO of Coastal Horizons, said in a press release. “By bringing a pharmacy directly onto our campus, one that accepts Medicaid and is integrated with our services, we are making it easier for patients to get the medications they need to support their health and recovery.”
