Monday, April 21
Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. at 30 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes a resolution supporting a $15.5 million funding offer from the Department of Environmental Quality for the design and construction of the Midway to Clemmons RD SE force main transmission project and approval of a $1.1 million budget amendment for WK Dickson’s Southport wastewater study and design contract, raising the total to $4.19 million.
Kure Beach Town Council will hold a budget workshop at 1 p.m. in Council Chambers, 117 Settlers Lane. The agenda includes reviews to the draft budget and other budget related items for FY 25-26.

Tuesday, April 22
Carolina Beach Town Council will meet for a workshop at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers, 1121 N. Lake Park Blvd. The meeting is streamed here and the agenda includes:
- A budget presentation, with staff presenting preliminary numbers
- Board of Adjustment committee member appointment
- Encroachment agreement for 1810 Canal Dr.
Carolina Beach Board of Adjustment will meet at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers, 1121 N. Lake Park Blvd. The meeting is streamed here and the agenda includes the board reviewing an appeal challenging a staff ruling on development regulations affecting the Carolina Beach Yacht Club.
Pender County Board of Commissioners will meet at 4 p.m. in Pender County Public Assembly Room, 805 S. Walker Street. The meeting is streamed here and the agenda includes:
- A resolution supporting a moratorium to freeze employment of county employees and discretionary spending
- Approval sought for a $644,262.25 purchase order to acquire and install E911 radio consoles for the new law enforcement center

Wednesday, April 23
The Town of Topsail Beach Planning Board will meet at 10 a.m. The agenda includes training for Planning Board members from Wes MacLeod, Cape Fear Council of Government.
Thursday, April 24
The Town of Surf City will hold an annual resident shred event from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Surf City Municipal Complex, 214 W. Florence Way.
The UNCW Board of Trustees will hold committee meetings beginning at 11 a.m. in the UNCW Burney Center, 601 S. College Road.
CFPUA Long Range Planning Committee meets at 3 p.m. in the Jordan Conference Room, 235 Government Center. The agenda includes an update on the Wrightsville Beach consolidation project and factoring in escalation and inflation in capital planning.
Friday, April 25
Surf City Town Council will meet for a council work session from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The meeting can be streamed here, an agenda was not posted by press.
The UNCW Board of Trustees will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the UNCW Burney Center, 601 S. College Road.
The Pender County Board of Education will hold a Committee of the Whole meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the Dr. Katherine Herring Resource Center, 798 U.S. Highway 117. Meetings are livestreamed here. An agenda was not posted by press.
Bald Head Island Village Council will have a budget workshop at 10 a.m. at 273 Edward Teach Extension.
