Monday, March 17

Pender County Schools will hold committee meetings beginning at 1 p.m. in the Dr. Katherine Herring Resource Center, 798 U.S. Highway 117 S. The agendas can be viewed here.
Kure Beach Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. at 117 Settlers Lane. The agenda includes a budget amendment for $350,000 to increase Storm Water Fund Capital Outlay for repairs to storm water outfalls, action consideration on proposed text amendments to Chapter 11 and approval of revised fee schedule, and presentation on shoreline access and breach protection. Carolina Beach Board of Adjustment will meet at 6 p.m. at Council Chambers, 1121 N. Lake Park Blvd. One item is on the agenda for Eighteen Eleven Properties, LLC requesting a variance to Section 3.13 Dimensional Requirements for Minimum Setbacks, Maximum Lot Coverage, and Maximum Impervious Coverage at 7 Sailfish Lane in the R-1 Zoning District.
