Monday, Feb. 24
Southport Board of Aldermen will hold a budget work session at 9 a.m. at Indian Trail Meeting Hall, 113 W. Moore St.
Leland Town Council will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m. at Fire Station 51, 1970 Popular St. The agenda includes a presentation on the FY 2025/2026 budget.
Tuesday, Feb. 25
Leland Planning Board will meet at 6 p.m. at Town Hall, 102 Town Hall Dr. The agenda includes an update on the Leland 2045 Comprehensive Plan, a resolution for approving the Amended Board and Committee Rules of Procedure, and a recommendation for adopting the Leland Safe Streets and Roads for All Safety Action Plan.
Pender County Board of Education will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Hampstead Government Annex, 15060 US 17. The agenda includes financial planning for fuel and electric expenses and a strategic plan update.
New Hanover County Board of Education will have an agenda review meeting at 2 p.m. at the NHC Board of Education Center, 1809 S 13th St. An agenda was not posted by press.
Wilmington Housing Authority Community Outreach and Resident Services (CORS) Committee will be held Rankin Terrace at 3 pm.
Wednesday, Feb. 26
Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Board will meet at 3 p.m. at the WMPO Board Room at 525 North 4th St. The agenda includes a resolution for funding to the Town of Belville for the Rice Hope Multi-Use Path and Belville Elementary School Multi-Use projects.

Cape Fear Public Transportation Authority will meet at 12:30 p.m. at Forden Station, 505 Cando St. An agenda was not posted by press. Cape Fear Public Utility Authority Long Range Planning Committee will meet at 3 p.m. at the Jordan Conference Room, 235 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes selected project updates and a presentation on the draft 10-year CIP.
Wilmington Housing Authority Finance and Development (F&D) Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. This meeting will be held at the WHA main office, 1524 S 16th St.
Friday, Feb. 28
The State Board of Elections will hold a remote meeting at 2 p.m. The tentative agenda includes waiver requests for campaign finance penalties and proposed permanent rules for campaign finance reporting and the review of petitions.
