NEW HANOVER COUNTY — The N.C. Department of Transportation is coming a road in the northern part of the county due to construction improvements.

A portion of Sidbury Road near Old Dairy Farm Road will be closed Feb. 10 through Feb. 28. The NCODT will be replacing a pipe to improve the area’s water flow.

During this time, drivers should exercise caution when driving through the intersection and allow extra travel time for detours.
