Monday, Nov. 18
The Wilmington City Council will hold an agenda review at 8:30 a.m. in city hall, 102 N. Third St. Meetings are livestreamed here.
The Pender County Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the Dr. Katherine Herring Resource Center, 798 U.S. Highway 117 S. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Easement for Piedmont Natural Gas
Belville Board of Commissioners meet at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall Chambers, 63 River Road. The agenda includes:
- Two presentations — a social media report and update on the Rice Festival
- Update on the multi-use path

Kure Beach Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. at 117 Settlers Lane. The agenda includes:

Brunswick County Board of Commissioners meets at 6 p.m. at 30 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes potential changes to the county’s stormwater ordinance to reduce flooding impacts.
Town of Carolina Beach Board of Adjustment will meet at 6 p.m. in council chambers, 1121 N. Lake Park Blvd. Livstreams are available here. Two public hearings are scheduled, according to the agenda:

Wednesday, Nov. 20
Town of Topsail Planning Board meets at Topsail Beach Town Hall, 820 S Anderson Blvd. The agenda includes discussion of text amendment changes to the UDO, including sections on substantial improvement; the board will also discuss roofed gazebos on the oceanfront.
New Hanover County Board of Elections will meet at 10 a.m. at the Paynter Room at the Northeast Library, 1241 Military Cutoff Rd to conduct a recount if a recount is requested by an eligible candidate.
The Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Board will meet at 3 p.m. in the WMPO board room at 525 N. Fourth St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Resolution approving the Gullah Geechee Heritage Trail feasibility study
- Resolution endorsing the Fiscally Constrained Roadway Project List for inclusion in Cape Fear Navigating Change 2050

- 104 Rucker Run: Variance to City Code Section, 18-199, detached accessory structures and ADU’s shall not exceed the height of the principal building
