WILMINGTON — The local community college is hosting two events this month to help students with the enrollment process.

They will take place at two of the Cape Fear Community College campuses:

  • Tuesday, July 16, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., CFCC Downtown Campus, Union Station, 502 N. Front St.
  • Thursday, July 18, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., CFCC North Campus, McKeithan Center, 4500 Blue Clay Road, Castle Hayne

Attendees can interact with various CFCC departments and services in one location, as representatives from financial aid and student activities, for example, will be on site. They’ll be able to answer questions and provide information on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and NextNC Scholarship.

Admissions will be able to talk about the basics and give a general overview of CFCC’s enrollment process.

“By streamlining the enrollment process and bringing together key resources in one place, we are making it easier than ever for students to fulfill their educational and career aspirations,” CFCC President Jim Morton said in a press release.

More information can be found here. Student aid accounts can be created here, for access to FAFSA.
