Veteran Services relocating to Health and Human Services main building

NEW HANOVER COUNTY – Starting Monday, July 1, New Hanover County Veteran Services will relocate to the Health and Human Services building at 1650 Greenfield Street.

“Our goal is to offer the best support and assistance to those who served our country in the Armed Services as well as their eligible family members by connecting them with the resources available to them,” Director of Veteran Services Betsy Graham said in a press release. “We’re excited to work with those who need our help at our new offices inside the Health and Human Services building starting in July.”

In-person assistance at the current offices inside the Health and Human Services Annex at 1507 Greenfield Street will continue until noon on Thursday, June 27. At that time, Veteran Services will close for the remainder of the day and all day on Friday, June 28 to relocate.

During this period, Veteran Services will provide limited virtual assistance over the phone. In-person assistance at the new offices will begin on July 1.
