NEW HANOVER COUNTY — A Wilmington man arrested in Jacksonville faces multiple charges.
Christopher Xavier Adams was arrested Saturday in Onslow County after fleeing New Hanover County. He was charged Tuesday with first-degree forcible rape, first-degree kidnapping and first-degree sex offense.
Adams was also convicted of assault on a female earlier in 2023. Anyone with additional information on Adams should call the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at 910-798-4200.
