WILMINGTON — A death investigation is underway after an early-morning shooting left one man deceased.
The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene after a 24-year-old male was shot just before 2 a.m. on Dec. 26. The incident took place at 1930 Castle Hayne Rd.
Few details have been released. However, the male has been identified as Larry Brown, who was rushed to Novant’s New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he perished.
