Leland man arrested for domestic dispute, driving car into 2 homes

LELAND — One man was arrested following a domestic disturbance on Sunday.

Leland Police Department responded to a dispute between a male and female in the 2700 block of Southern Magnolia Way just after 11:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found Aleczander Francis Liriano, 26, had barricaded himself inside his residence.

Prior to that, Liriano had crashed a vehicle into two homes on Southern Magnolia Way; no one was injured.

Liriano was taken into custody after noon and charged with assault on a female, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and several driving-related charged. He is being held at the Brunswick County Detention Center without bond due to the domestic nature of the charges.
