CAROLINA BEACH — An area of Canal Drive on the island will be closed to traffic through Oct. 13.
According to the Town of Carolina Beach, the 200 block will have both lanes closed between Carl Winner Dr. and Pelican Lane, due to crews working on the east side of the town marina project. The closure takes place from Monday, Oct. 2, through Friday, Oct. 13.
Motorists will be directed to use Carolina Beach Ave. N. as a detour. Access to parking lots and businesses in the area will remain open.
