WILMINGTON — The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority’s Government Center Drive offices will be closed to in-person visits at least through Friday.

A plumbing leak that happened overnight was discovered at the facility Wednesday. The cause and extent of damage is unknown.

The incident will not affect water or wastewater services, according to CFPUA. Customers can still access the 305 Chestnut Street office, call 910-332-6550 or go online here for account inquiries and information.

Updates on next week’s office hours will be provided as soon as available, according to CFPUA.
