BRUNSWICK COUNTY — A man has been charged with fleeing to elude arrest deputies after exiting the courthouse when issued a $1 million bond.
John Douglas Wagoner, 27, was issued the bond for failing to appear in court earlier Tuesday, as well as possession of methamphetamine. Wagoner attempted to leave the courthouse afterward, according to Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were called to apprehend him.
He is currently held at the Brunswick County Detention Facility.
