Back-to-school vaccine clinic open to middle, high school students

NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Before the new school year starts, students have the opportunity to receive necessary vaccines hosted by the county.

New Hanover County Department of Health and Human Services will hold a back-to-school vaccine clinic from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 15 at the NHCDHHS, 1650 Greenfield St.

The event is open to all middle- and high-school students who need to receive mandatory vaccines, including Tdap and meningitis. Appointments are not needed but a parent or guardian must present applicable insurance information.
