Monday, June 12
The Leland Town Council will meet at 1 p.m. at Leland Town Hall, 102 Town Hall Drive for a Council Agenda Briefing meeting. See June 15 for full details.
Brunswick County Planning Board meets at 6 p.m. at Brunswick County Government Center, 30 Government Center Dr., in the David Sandifer Administration Building. Attendees are welcome in person.

Tuesday, June 13
The United States Army Corps of Engineers Wilmington District will hold a public information session on the Wilmington harbor project at 4 p.m. in the Cape Fear Community College Union Station Building, 502 N. Front St.
The Carolina Beach Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. in council chambers at 1121 N. Lake Park Blvd. Meetings can be livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Public hearing on the proposed FY23-24 budget
The Town of Belville Board of Adjustment Committee will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Chambers at Belville Town Hall, 63 River Road. An agenda was not posted by press.
The Pender County Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. in the Dr. Katherine Herring Resource Center, 798 U.S. Highway 117 S. Meetings can be livestreamed here. The agenda includes:

The New Hanover County Board of Elections will meet at 5:15 p.m. in the Longleaf Room at the Board of Elections Office, 1241-A Military Cutoff Road; limited in-person seating available. Wednesday, June 14
The Town of North Topsail Beach Board of Aldermen will meet at 11 a.m. at town hall, 2008 Loggerhead Court, for a special-called meeting to adopt the fiscal year 2024 budget.
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority will meet at 9 a.m., 230 Government Center Dr. Multiple contracts are on the agenda totaling over $1 million for field work and surveying the water service line and inventory, as well as an amendment to the Lower Cape Fear interlocal agreement. Topsail Beach will hold a special meeting to consider a special-use permit at 5 p.m. at town hall, 820 S. Anderson Blvd. The meeting livestream and agenda can be found here.

- A public hearing for the fiscal year 2023-2024 budget and setting the tax rate
- Discuss and consider funding request from Share the Table, Pender Education Partnership and the Historical Society of Topsail Island

The Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Technical Coordinating Committee will meet at 10 a.m. at 305 Chestnut St. The meeting can be livestreamed on Zoom. A few items on the agenda include:
- Discussion about prioritization 7.0 project submittals
- Military Cutoff/Eastwood Road interchange
- 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan branding
The Town of Navassa will hold a planning board meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Navassa Town Hall, 334 Main Street. An agenda was not posted by press.
The Southport ABC Board will meet at 6 p.m. to discuss next year’s budget, followed by its regular meeting at 6 p.m. in Indian Trail Meeting Hall, 113 W. Moore St.
City of Boiling Springs Lake Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. at city hall, 9 East Boiling Springs Road. On the agenda will be discussion to finalize a work order for the dam reconstruction project, finalize the Sequoia contract for the dam reconstruction and discuss the comprehensive transportation plan.
Thursday, June 15
Topsail Beach Beach Inlet and Sound Committee will meet at 10 a.m. at town hall, 820 S. Anderson Blvd.

The Wilmington Board of Adjustment will meet at 1 p.m. at city hall, 102 N. Third St. The meeting can be livestreamed on GTV8 and YouTube. The two items on the agenda include:
- Variances to tree preservation regarding 14 specimen trees in the high-density multiple-dwelling district on College Acres Drive
- Request for a variance to exceed the number of accessory buildings on a bona fide farm and to exceed the allowable square footage for accessory buildings and an accessory dwelling unit at 1005 Airlie Road
The New Hanover County Board of Commissioners will hold an agenda review at 4 p.m. at 230 Government Center.
The Town of Navassa will hold a Town Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Navassa Town Hall, 334 Main Street.
The Southport Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 6 p.m. in the Southport Community Building, 223 E. Bay St. The agenda includes:
- Illuminated sign text amendment
- Rezoning request for 605 W Brown St.
The New Hanover County ABC Board is meeting at 9 a.m. in the general office, 6009 Market St. A public hearing will be held regarding the fiscal year 2023-2024 budget. An agenda was not posted by press.
The North Topsail Beach Planning Board will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. at town hall, 2008 Loggerhead Court. The agenda includes discussion on wetland protection, the Dark Sky ordinance, and an update to the UDO regarding board of adjustment.
