LELAND — Area residents of the largest Brunswick County town will notice work being done Tuesday, June 6, on some of its roadways.

Crews will begin installing thermoplastic striping on New Pointe Blvd., including updates to the center turn lane and arrows in the commercial section.

Thereafter it will work on Pine Harvest Drive in Magnolia Greens, Cape Fear National Drive, Shelmore Way and Rice Gate Way, installing center line double yellow, crosswalks and stop bars.

The work is expected to take two weeks to complete. As the paint truck makes its trek along the roadways, traffic will be diverted. Motorists should expect delays and move through work zones with caution.
